A perfect garden wedding in Autumn – Such a romantic, fun day with so many little details to photograph. Laura & Calum chose to celebrate their day in their very own garden. They had a wonderful humanist ceremony and to add an extra personal touch they used climbing ropes to tie the knot. North of Scotland Marquees came to the rescue after the original marquee supplier had to cancel the day before the wedding. Stressful! All was well though.
Gorgeous bouquets, centrepieces and floral arch were by the talented girls of The Flower Company (Inverness). Calum made all the wooden signs which really suited the look of their day. He also had to rescue a friendly robin which decided to wander inside the house. Laura wore a beautiful simple dress which showed off her little bump, she also had the best bridal dressing gown I have seen to date.
Given how cold and wet this September has been they were so lucky to have such a glorious day. We would happily photograph this kind of wedding every weekend. Personal touches really make all the difference.
